Update Pemenang American Music Awards 2022, BTS Raih Dua Award

Seperti telah ditebak, BTS atau Bangtan Sonyeondan memenangkan dua kategori award di American Music Awards (AMAs).

AMAs sedang berlangsung di Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, Minggu (20/11/2022) waktu setempat.

Grup ini menang untuk kategori duo atau grup pop favorit, mengalahkan nominasi nama besar lainnya, seperti Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Maneskin dan OneRepublic.

Capaian ini menandai trofi kelima BTS dalam penghargaan musik Amerika itu sejak pertama kali meraihnya untuk kategori artis sosial favorit pada tahun 2018.

BTS sejak itu masuk dalam daftar penerima, memenangkan kategori pop duo atau grup favorit selama empat tahun terakhir sejak 2019.

Selain itu BTS juga menang Favorite K-pop artist mengalahkan Blackpink, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together dan Twice.

Dengan demikian tinggal satu award lagi yakni grup favorit AMAs pilihan fans atau #AMAsFanFavorite

Saingan beratnya adalah One Direction. BTS untuk single lagu Butter dan One Direction untuk ‘Story of my Life”

Tahun lalu, BTS menulis ulang sejarah K-pop dengan menjadi artis Asia pertama yang memenangkan kategori Artist of the Year.

BTS tidak berada di Amerika Serikat untuk menghadiri upacara tersebut tahun ini.

Personel termudanya, Jungkook, membawakan “Dreamers”, lagu resmi Piala Dunia Qatar 2022, saat upacara pembukaannya, pada Minggu (20/11) waktu setempat.
